After three weeks of direct and indirect work, I eventually finished the project.
I used Autodesk Maya, Mental Ray, Autodesk Mudbox, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects
I used maya PaintFX to populate plants through the scene and integrated them into Mental Ray. If several people ask for, a making of would be available soon…
In this work I have simulated a very thick (viscous) liquid in RealFlow and then exported the mesh into Maya, selected a frame (the most obvious) and begun the render job using Mental Ray. Early in the future an animated version would also be rendered. The expensive meshes and high quality render captured the machine for three hours to HD render the scene. Displacement for oranges is also used to promise no fake shadow as an annoying factor.
Here, I have put also a scene-captured animation of the scene:
I have worked on this pieces to finalized them out within a velvet appearance. It sounds quite good,; also I have lit the scene using GI and FG.
In this image I tried to render out the specular effect of a Compact Disk Prismatic Spectrum, which however not mathematically and physically justifiable, but artistically achievable withing Maya shading abilities.
In this image my aim was to simulate plastic material for, let’s say, a mineral water bottle.
This image is done using Maya and Mental Ray, with a little post process in Photoshop.
Hello everybody, here I made a render of a folded gunny, since I like the style, I have not added any extra object to it.
